What is the deal with integrated graphics?

This might come off as a rant-like post. Maybe it is, who knows. It’s my blog, who cares. Regardless, I’ve seen a lot of posts out online that complain about integrated graphics like it’s some sort of sin to use. You know what people, sometimes people cannot afford a graphics card. That’s just the gist of it. Plain and simple. Some people simply cannot afford the high tech. So you guys are kind of just making fun of those guys, just because they can’t afford what you can. I say this because I was in that situation once. Remember my start in sound engineering? I was just a poor little college kid. I didn’t even buy my MD-2000 keyboard. It was given to me as a gift. I couldn’t afford it at the time. It took me 6 months of...

How to build a budget gaming PC?

Last year we talked about building your own PC for the first time. This time around, I want to help my awesome readers with a short guide on building a budget based computer. Basically, if you are going to build it on a fixed budget then chances are great that you will lose performance in many columns. All the components used in a gaming PC are good and costly. How’s the site design?

Hey everyone, this is kind of just a meta-blog post. I wanted to ask for feedback on how the website looks. I think it looks awesome and I am so thankful for my friend, Jason, who helped set the site up with me. Great friends are worth keeping, guys! Just some wise words. I do love the overall look of it. My logo was done by myself, so excuse its simplicity. But I think it fits well with the theme of things. The background image was also a photograph I took myself of one of my computer builds. I set the focus primarily on the video card, since there is no gaming power without the card, right? 🙂 I look forward to adding more content to the site through the year, as long as my readers keep reading. Do send feedback, though. I’d also love to hear about what...

A typical day

A typical day

I do get a few emails once in a while that ask a little bit more about my life. I thought writing about a typical day for me would be an awesome way to share that with you guys. Again, I do appreciate everyone that contacts me. I love all my readers and I am glad that my blog has picked up in a relatively short time. I usually wake up early in the morning, say something like 7am. It has always been a habit to wake up this early. I also should mention I do it without an alarm whatsoever. I love waking up naturally in the morning, so I have trained myself to just wake up whenever it’s time. I work at 10am every day anyway so I have some runtime if I ever get late, which never happens. I get a morning tea from Starbucks and bring along my laptop, which thanks...
